The overall plan was to rebuild an employee dormitory. Parts of the existing building were torn down, while others were kept. A separate wing with 30 rooms was added. Much effort went into ensuring a good quality living environment such as to design the profile to block lines of sight in consideration of privacy. Because of site restrictions, the outdoor space was efficiently incorporated into designs in order to create a refreshing and relaxing environment that would invite residents to interact and motivate them as employees.
